Commencement 2022: Three weeks to go

This year’s Graduation Days have been set as July 23-24. Instruction at Ibn Haldun University started in Fall 2017. So starting from English language prep, this will be the first ever Commencement for our undergraduates, as well as the Fourth Commencement (counting from the 2018-2019 academic year) for our graduate students.

At 18:00 (6 pm) on Saturday, 23nd July, as elected by the Senior Class Prof. Alev Erkilet, Dean of the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences, will deliver the annual Closing Lecture. Commencement itself will take place on Sunday, 24rd July, starting at 16:00 (4 pm) and probably lasting until around 19:30 (7:30 pm). Approximately one hundred MA and PhD candidates, as well as a similar number of BA candidates, are expected to attend, together with their families and other guests in the stands. The formal awarding of their diplomas will be followed by a reception in the same area.
